In the late 1950s, soul jazz, as a further development of hard bop, began to conquer the ears and hearts of jazz fans.

With their own distinctive and characterful interpretations, the quartet revives the tunes from that unforgettable era and gives them a new radiance – reminiscent of giants like Lou Donaldson, Horace Silver, Dr. Lonnie Smith, King Curtis & others.
